Replace cover andsecurely snap in place. Now the unit is ready for use.OPERATION:
Remove the Prod Protection Cap from the unit.
Push the cap of switch to turn on the unit, the
power LED will light. (See figure 2)
Use the two pins in measure mode, making firm contact
against the surface to show the actual moisture content
of wood in percentage of moisture via the LED’s with
a range of 8-22%, and the wood moisture equivalent
value of other building materials.

This instrument is:
1. Given direct moisture content, readings in wood by LED indicators.
2. Color-coded for use on plaster, brick on a relative basis.
Green: 8% ~ 12%, "Air-dry" conditions. Decay impossible.
Yellow: 14% ~ 16%, Slightly in excess of normal. Investigate
further. Red: Up 18%, Excess moisture. Decay inevitable.
