Co-injection or 2k Moulding of Plastic and TPE

Co-injection moulding is a process where two or more different materials are used during the injection so as to achieve more than one colour or mechanical properties (e.g. hardness) within one component. It is also called 2K moulding or even 3K moulding when there are three different materials, but 2K moulding is by far the most common co-injection in practice.
